Classes are offered for booking on a week-by-week basis with sessions for the following week posted on this page by 1400 every Friday.
The classes available to book the week commencing 10 August are:
- Tuesday 11 August, 1000 to 1100
- Wednesday 12 August, 1900 to 2000 *
- Friday 14 August, 0930 to 1030 *
*not suitable for people with osteoporosis or osteopenia.
To join any of the above online classes, please follow these three steps carefully…
Step 1: Book
Please complete the booking form below. If there are two or more of you in the same household planning to attend the same class on the same device, each person needs to fill in or be accounted for on the form.
When you have clicked ‘Submit’ you will see the words ‘MESSAGE SENT’ and an italicised version of the booking form you completed. If you don’t see this you probably haven’t filled in and/or checked the boxes in the required fields.
Step 2: Pay
Booking form completed, please now pay £6.50 per person per class either by bank transfer – if you have requested my bank details in the form I will email them to you as soon as possible so you can pay without delay – or you can pay via this PayPal link using your PayPal account or as a guest of PayPal using a debit/credit card. This PayPal link is set up for the purchase of one £6.50 class. If you have booked more than one class or you are booking for more than one person, you can change the order quantity accordingly.
Step 3: Register
Once I’ve received your booking and payment, I will send you a booking confirmation email with a link to register with Zoom for the class. If you haven’t received this email with the registration link within a few hours it’s either in your spam folder, or I haven’t received your booking and/or payment, in which case please submit your booking again and/or check the payment has left your account.
Registering for the class with Zoom is very quick. You’ll be asked for your name and email address. That’s it. Please register with an email address (typed in correctly!) that you can access from the device you plan to use to attend the online class.
IMPORTANT – please register as soon as you receive the booking confirmation email from me. If you try and register too close to the class start time there is a strong chance you won’t receive the Zoom link in time to access the class.
Once I’ve approved your registration, you’ll receive an automated email from Zoom with a link unique to you and unique to that specific class on that day. Only you can use this link to access that class on that day. The link won’t work for any other class that week or any other week. Here is an example of the Zoom email you will receive…
If you haven’t received this email within a few hours of registering, it’s either in your spam folder or you have typed in your email address incorrectly in which case please re-register.
On the day of the class
The example email above is the one you need on the day of your class. Make sure you have access to it on the device you plan to use to attend the session. You do not need to sign up for any kind of Zoom account to do the online classes. All you do is click on the blue link which says “Click Here to Join” 5-10 minutes before the start time. This will send you to the class on Zoom, either on your web browser if you’re using a laptop, or in the Zoom app you have already downloaded onto your tablet from the App Store.
Trying to join too early, e.g.15-20 minutes beforehand and I won’t have opened the class for access. Doing this will make you think the link doesn’t work when in fact it does and you’ve just tried to use it before the session is active.
If you follow the above steps, you will have no problem accessing the online classes. The system has been tried and tested now by over 100 participants and it works well.
A full refund will be paid if you cancel a booking AT LEAST 24 HOURS before the start time of the class. Alternatively you could transfer to another class instead of having a refund. I’m afraid a refund cannot be given if you miss the class on the day because you forgot about it, or you forgot to register or download the Zoom app in advance, or because you didn’t have the Zoom link available on the correct device.
