Book a Class

Classes are offered for booking on a week-by-week basis with sessions for the following week posted on this page by 1200 every Friday.

The classes available to book the week commencing 21 June are:

*not suitable for people with osteoporosis or osteopenia.

To join any of the above online classes, please follow these three simple steps…

Step 1: Book

Please complete the booking form below. If there are two or more of you in the same household planning to attend the same class on the same or separate devices, each person needs to fill in or be accounted for on the form.

When you have clicked ‘Submit’ you will see the words ‘MESSAGE SENT’ and an italicised version of the booking form you completed.  If you don’t see this you probably haven’t filled in and/or checked the boxes in the required fields.

Step 2: Pay

Booking form completed, please now pay £6.50 per person per class by bank transfer if possible.  This is the preferred method as the PayPal option means I lose a significant portion of your payment to PayPal in the form of a service fee.  If you have requested my bank details on the booking form or want to do that now via this contact form, I will email them to you straight away so you can pay without delay.

If you don’t have access to online banking but have a PayPal account, please log in and use the Send Money function to transfer £6.50 to my email address (pilatesxmelissaatgmaildotcom).

If you don’t have a PayPal account or access to online banking, you can pay using a debit/credit card via this link  as a guest of PayPal.  This link is set up for the purchase of one £6.50 class.  If you have booked more than one class or you are booking for more than one person, you can change the order quantity accordingly.

Step 3: Register

Once I’ve received your booking and payment, I will send you a booking confirmation email with a link to register with Zoom for the class. If you haven’t received this email with the registration link within a few hours (or a little longer at the weekends) it’s either in your spam folder, or I haven’t received your booking and/or payment, in which case please submit your booking again and/or check the payment has left your account.

Registering for the class with Zoom is very quick. You’ll be asked for your name and email address.  That’s it.  Please register with an email address (typed in correctly!) that you can access from the device you plan to use to attend the online class.

Please try and register in good time ahead of the class rather than at the last minute to ensure a stress-free entry into the session.  As soon as you’ve registered you’ll receive an automated email from Zoom with a link unique to you and unique to that specific class on that day.  Only you can use this link to access the class on that day. The link won’t work for any other class.  Here is an example of the Zoom email you will receive…

If you haven’t received this email within a few seconds of registering, it’s either in your spam folder or you have typed in your email address incorrectly in which case please re-register.

On the day of the class

The example email above is the one you need on the day of your class.  Make sure you have access to it on the device you plan to use to attend the session. You do not need to sign up for any kind of Zoom account to do the online classes.  All you do is click on the blue link which says “Click Here to Join” 5-10 minutes before the start time.  This will send you to the class on Zoom, either in Zoom Client for Meetings which you’ve already downloaded onto your web browser if you’re using a laptop, or in the Zoom app you’ve already downloaded onto your tablet from the App Store.

If for some reason you are asked to enter a passcode, this is also provided in the Zoom email.  It’s just below the blue “Click Here to Join” link – please see above example email again.

Trying to join too early, e.g.15-20 minutes beforehand and I won’t have opened the class for access. Doing this may make you think the link doesn’t work when in fact it does and you’ve just tried to use it before the session is active.

If you follow the above steps, you will have no problem accessing the online classes.  The system has been tried and tested now thousands of times by over 100 participants and it works well.

Cancellation/refund policy

A full refund will be paid if you cancel a booking AT LEAST 24 HOURS before the start time of the class.  Alternatively, instead of having a refund you can transfer to another class.  If you miss the class on the day because you forgot to register or download the Zoom app or Zoom Client for Meetings in advance, or you got the wrong time, or because you didn’t have the Zoom link available on the correct device, I’m sure we can work something out so you don’t feel like you’ve wasted your money.
